Our recruiters work hard to introduce the Independent Study High School to secondary students, counselors and administrators. Working with people across the country and around the world, they are spreading the UNL Independent Study High School experience far and wide.

Charlotte Seewald

Charlotte Seewald has first-hand experience in education, with previous experience as a teacher in the Lincoln Public Schools as well as an ESL assessor for the No Child Left Behind program.

As a recruiter, Charlotte enjoys meeting with educational leaders to learn about student needs and work toward solutions through the UNL Independent Study High School. With students in 145 countries, she values the opportunity to be part of education on a global level.

Charlotte travels for both business and pleasure, listing Venice, Washington D.C. and Juneau as her favorite destinations.

Rhnissa Decker

Rhnissa Decker, a native of Hartington, NE, joined the ISHS with years of recruitment experience. After finishing her BA in Psychology from Mount Marty College, she began working within the Mount Marty Admissions Office as an Enrollment Counselor, serving the state of Nebraska. At Mount Marty, she assisted high school students with college planning, financial aid, scholarships and enrollment.

Here at the Independent Study High School, you will find Rhnissa working with Nebraska high schools as the ISHS recruiter and Advanced Scholars coordinator. She assists schools and high school administrators across Nebraska with the successful implementation of ISHS and Advanced Scholars courses to enhance and diversify their high school curriculum.

When not hard at work, Rhnissa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, playing golf, volleyball and travelling.
