K.O Broady Scholarship
All students are eligible to apply for the K. O. Broady Scholarship.
The K. O. Broady Scholarship Fund awards a limited number of scholarships annually on the basis of financial need, scholastic record and availability of funds. Scholarships are awarded every November.
Knute O. Broady was influential in the initiation of the UNL Independent Study High School. His association with UNL began in 1928 and extended to his retirement, 36 years later, in 1964. He became director of the Extension Division in 1941 and director of the Nebraska Center for Continuing Education following its establishment in 1962.
